Did you ever wish you could easily switch between a mouse and another input device, such as a trackball, without having to unplug one device, plug in the other and reboot? The P.I. Engineering Y-mouse Dual Mouse Adapter allows you to use two input devices simultaneously without installing any drivers.
Simply plug the y-shaped adapter into your system's PS/2 port, and connect your primary device (the device recognized at boot-up). Plug the trackball into the secondary pointing device port and boot the system. When you move either device, the on-screen pointer responds. You can even remove the secondary device and still use the primary device without rebooting. Since the Y-mouse draws its power from the serial port, it keeps two devices connected, letting you choose between them as you wish.
The unit can be daisy chained with other input devices like a dual mouse adapter to obtain three or more mouse ports from your original PS/2 port. The Y-mouse measures 0.75 by 2.5 by 4 inches, weighs 4.5 ounces and comes with a six-inch serial cord.
