Vectron WebSight Internet Video Conferencing Kit
Let's Go to the Video!

The Vectron WebSight Internet Video Conferencing Kit allows you to bring audio and video over the Internet or intranet at the cost of an Internet connection. Designed for low-bandwidth networks, the kit enables you to make video calls in full color using a standard 28.8Kbps modem. It contains a 32-bit video capture card, which can deliver full-screen 640x480 video transfers at 30 frames per second.

You can focus the video CCD (charge-coupled device) camera manually from a distance of 0cm to infinity; it produces 24-bit true-color images and comes with a microphone. External controls include a positive/negative image switch for viewing photo negatives.

The video capture card can automatically detect NTSC, PAL or SECAM inputs and can support video scaling, filtering and mask clipping. The card also supports color-space conversion for different pixel formats for extended compatibility with most graphics adapters.

Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft NetMeeting videoconference software is included and is based on the H.323 protocol (H.324 is optional). The kit also features contrast/ backlight compensation to help maintain the correct light exposure. Digital Signal Processing provides optimal performance under fluorescent light.

$349; without camera, $199. Vectron Technologies, 514-744-0630, fax 514-737-0662. Winfo #643
