HP Network ScanJet 5
Scan the Possibilities

As the demand to convert your data to digital form increases, you'll need to maintain your level of productivity. The HP Network ScanJet 5 can help. It quickly converts paper-based information into electronic form using advanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology at 15 pages per minute at 300dpi in black and white or 8-bit gray scale. While the scanner offers direct connectivity to major network operating systems, its Scan to Share feature allows you to scan documents once, then simultaneously share them with several co-workers.

The Scan to Fax feature lets you scan and fax documents via the LAN to multiple locations at the same time. The ScanJet 5 connects directly to Ethernet 10BaseT, 10Base2, Token Ring, 100BaseT and 100VG LANs. It measures 11.2 by 11.8 by 17.8 inches and weighs 37.5 pounds. HP claims the ScanJet 5 has a 10,000-page monthly duty cycle.
