Give everyone in the office rapid access to color printing with the Panasonic KX-P8475. This network color laser printer incorporates a 33MHz RISC processor, turning out 600x600dpi documents at 5ppm in color and 14ppm in monochrome with its standard 8MB memory.
With 24MB of memory, the KX-P8475 can achieve 1200x1200dpi output. It provides 17 Adobe I fonts and, as an option, 22 additional fonts. The printer features Pantone and ColorSync color table matching, useful in desktop publishing environments.
The printer stands 17.9 by 19.3 by 19.4 inches, and weighs around 117 pounds.
The KX-P8475 offers three network options: Ethernet, Token Ring and LocalTalk, and it has a standard bidirectional parallel interface. It includes a built-in SCSI interface for external storage devices.
The printer's input cassette holds 250 sheets of 20-pound paper, and optional second and third cassettes hold 250 sheets each. There is also an optional 100-sheet cassette for transparencies. You can manually feed transparencies, labels and envelopes.

Go for speed and versatility with the Nikon Scantouch 110 color flatbed scanner. The Scan touch features advanced logic and a SCSI-2 interface for faster scans. If you want to scan more than one page at a time, the optional AF-10 Automatic Document Feeder holds 50 sheets that can range in size from 3 by 5 inches to 8.5 by 14 inches.
Another add-on, the AT-10 Transparency adapter, offers 8.5-by-11-inch coverage. The 24-bit, single-pass Scantouch performs a letter-sized color preview in 5.9 seconds and scans the document in about 24 seconds at 300dpi. It can provide a resolution of up to 4800x4800dpi.
The bundled Nikon Scan software includes a preview mode with a zoom feature and automatically handles density and color balance adjustments. Adobe Photoshop LE and Caere's OmniPage LE software are also bundled with the TWAIN-compatible scanner.

The Microtek ScanMaker 35t Plus is a dedicated slide scanner that is capable of digitizing mounted 35mm color slides at 1950x1950dpi optical resolution. It offers a maximum interpolated resolution of 3900dpi.
The 35t Plus scans in portrait or landscape mode, and can switch between positive or negative film-transparency mode. To begin the scan, you simply drop a mounted slide into a slot in the unit. The 30-bit, single-pass 35t Plus measures 5.1 by 7 by 9.84 inches and weighs 4.85 pounds.
The Epson Expression 636 36-bit color flatbed scanner handles images at an optical resolution of 600dpi and a maximum resolution of 4800x4800dpi. It also scans in 12-bit gray scale. The scanner's Text Enhancement Technology (TET) drops color background when scanning documents, providing clean text that works better with OCR software. Expression 636 comes in four models: the Upgrade (includes drivers and power cable), the Executive (drivers, cards, cables, Adobe Photoshop LE and OCR software), the Artist (Executive bundle plus full versions of Photoshop, Claris Home Page and Kai's Power Tools) and the Professional (Artist version plus a transparency-scanning unit).
